License Nos.'DPR-62 DPR-71 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on August 8-11, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in our correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
Technical Specification 6.12.2 requires each high radiation area in which the intensity of radiation is greater than 1000 millirez/ hour shall be provided with a locked door in addition to being posted as a high radiation area and barricaded.
Contrary to the above, on August 9,1978, the inspectors determined that a door into the Unit 2 condenser room was unlocked although the radiation levels in the reoc were posted as 1,500 millirem /bour. These levels were confirmed during the review of radiation survey records of the room.
This is an infraction.
