RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 90-03 FOR PILGRIM MUCLEAR POWER STATI0E - (TAC.NO.76276) On' March 20,L: 1990'the NRC issued Generic Letter (GL).90-03 " Relaxation of~ Staff Posi_ tion in Generic Letter 83-8, Item 2.2 Part 2 ' Vendor Interface for Safety-Related Components.'" The GL requested that all licensees and applicants review their present-vendor interface programs and modify them as necessary - using'the guidance-supplied-in GL, By letter dated October.12,:1990,'you responded to Generic Letter 90-03 and. indicated that the programs will be implemented as schedule ( in your:Long Term Plan.(LTP). 'The staff has reviewed your: response and finds'it acceptable. Y 'Your LTP' indicates a 36 month project to complete the Technical.Information

                                         '. Library (TIL) which was started in January, 1990. Additionally, the LTP states _

that Acepletion of -the TIL represents completion of your action under.. Vendor 11r'erface Program. ;The staff finds the. schedule acceptable. Any. changes to the schedule should be tjr subject'of correspondence to the NRC in addition to "y a LTP update;. id , TAC' No. 76276 is closed based on your LTP comitment.
