The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendments Nos. 47 and 47 o
5 Facility Operating Licenses Nos. OPR-44 and DPR-56 for the Peach ;.

1 Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units Nos. 2 and 3.
These amendments consist of changes to the Technical Specifications and are in re~s;ponse to 1
to your requests dated May 26 and September 5,1978.
The amendments revise the Technical Specifications which relate to:
(1) the instrumentation that initiates or controls the core and containment cooling systems, (2) Administrative Controls, (3) addition '
of safety related snubbers, (4) certain revisions that would conform to the staff's Standard Technical Specifications, and (5) various editorial changes to clarify the meaning or correct errors in the existing specifications.
Copies of the related Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
