The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendments Nos. 47 and 47 o 5 Facility Operating Licenses Nos. OPR-44 and DPR-56 for the Peach ; . i_. 1 Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units Nos. 2 and 3. These amendments to consist of changes to the Technical Specifications and are in re~s;ponse 1 to your requests dated May 26 and September 5,1978. '. -

The amendments revise the Technical Specifications which relate to:

(1) the instrumentation that initiates or controls the core and -

containment cooling systems, (2) Administrative Controls, (3) addition '

of safety related snubbers, (4) certain revisions that would conform to the staff's Standard Technical Specifications, and (5) various editorial changes to clarify the meaning or correct errors in the

, existing specifications.

Copies of the related Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
