By letter dated October 14, 1988, you requested relief from an ASME Code,Section XI, inservice testing requirement for the reactor coolant-charging pumps. This request was reviewed in conjunction with your proposed Second Ten-Year Interval Inservice Testing Program.

By letter dated September 20, 1990, we indicated approval of your Second Ten-Year Interval Inservice Testing Program including requested reliefs detemined to be impractical to perform. The above requested relief was included in the reliefs granted. Therefore, no further action is required and we are closing the above referenced TAC numbers.
