FORT CALHOUN STATION, UNIT NO.1 - AMENDMENT NO.158 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. DPR-40 (TAC NO. M82834)

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.158 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No.1.

This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated July 17, 1986, as supplemented by letters dated April 30, May 15, and December 21, 1987, May 18, 1989, December 16, 1991, March 17, May 15, July 6, 1992, and June 23, August 12, September 17, October 15, and October 27, 1993. The original work request performed using TAC No. M61976, was closed December 8, 1988.

The amendment makes changes the operating license to extend the expiration date to August 9, 2013, or 40 years after the date of issuance of the operating license rather than 40 years from date of issuance of Construction Permit.

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. A Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
