,4 COMMENTS ON THE JOSEPH M. FARLEY SECURITY AND SECURITY PERSONNEL TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLANS Security Plan - Revision 3 Section Pege Comment 1.3.1.3 6
Include a more detailed description of those screening measures that are completed for each employee prior to being granted " interim un-escorted access" to the protected area.
The basis upon which " interim unescorted access" to the protected area _is granted, as explained by Mr. Jerry Sims of your staff, would be sufficient to meet ANSI N18.17 for employee screening.
Security Personnel Training and Qualifications Plan - Revision 2 Section Page Comment 1.3 8
10 CFR Part 73, Appendix B specifically states
- that a medical examination must be conducted within the preceeding 30 days of an individual demonstrating physical fitness for the assigned security job duties. The extension, + 15 days, included in this section is contrary to the regulatory requirements.
Please delete.
i 1.5 9
There is no clear commitment as to how frequently the armed security personnel and CAS/SAS operators must successfully pass a medical examination.
This section should be revised to clearly' commit to an annual (once every 12 months) medical examination for these individuals.
