UNIMPLEMENTED GENERIC SAFETY ISSUES AT THE CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2-On April 25, 1990, the staff issued Generic Letter 90-04 which requested l

n information concerning the implementation status of certain generic safety issues (GSIs) at your facility. Based on your response to this Generic Letter, dated June 27, 1990, our own records and discussions with your staff, we have updated our database on GSI implementation status. The results of this effort were presented to the Comission at the meeting on October 25, 1990.

The enclosure to this letter sumarizes the staff's understanding of the

-current status of those GSIs which remain unimplemented at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2.

We appreciate the assistance you provided in responding to Generic Letter 90-04 and we encourage your timely completion of those GSis listed in the enclosure.
