(Mon) OPENED L-2017- RIS - Electronic Signature Use for Medical Licensee Internal Documents Required by NRC Regulation 30 08/24/2017 CRS-0048 This RIS is intended to supply information to assist medical use licensees in complying with the current NRC requirements related to the use of electronic signatures in internal licensee electronic documents and to clarify what constitutes a signature on electronic documents that medical use licensees are required to sign and maintain.

L-2019- IN - Examples of Willful Misconduct by Operators and Other Licensee Staff 4 10/07/2019 GEN-0013 The purpose of this IN is to inform addresses of operating experience in the form of recent examples of willful misconduct (falsification of records) by operators and other staff of nuclear power plants.

L-2019- IN - Kobe Steel Quality Assurance Record Falsification 2 12/05/2019 GEN-0015 The purpose of this IN is to develop Revision 1 to Information Notice (IN) 2018-11, Kobe Steel Quality Assurance Record Falsification that was originally issued on September 24, 2018. This IN provides an updated list of additional international companies that engaged in record falsification of material documentation similar to that described in the original Kobe Steel IN.

L-2020- RIS - Clarification of Personnel Access Authorization Requirements for Non-Immigrant Foreign Nationals 1 01/06/2020 GEN-0000 Working at Nuclear Power Plants The purpose of this RIS is to reinforce the requirement that prior to granting or reinstating unescorted access (UA), or certifying unescorted access authorization (UAA) to non-immigrant foreign nationals for the purpose of performing work, licensees shall satisfy the requirements in 10 CFR 73.56(d)(3), Verification of true identity.

L-2018- IN - Operating Experience Regarding Flow-Accelerated Corrosion 12/19/2018 10/8/2019 GEN-0012 Flow-accelerated corrosion (FAC) is an industry issue that was first recognized to be of significant concern at Surry in 1986. There continue to be FAC failures attributed to problems with the FAC monitoring program and its software that have caused reactor trips.

L-2019- IN - Counterfeit, Fraudulent, Suspect Item (CFSI) Training Offerings 01/17/2019 11/20/2019 GEN-0002 This IN is a revision to the IN 2012-22. It updates a list of CFSI trainings available throughout the industry.

L-2018- RIS - Pre-Application Communication and Scheduling for Accident Tolerant Fuel 07/30/2018 11/20/2019 GEN-0005 Licensing Submittals The staff has generated a list of questions regarding anticipated agency work in the area of accident tolerant fuels (ATF). This RIS will provide the venue for collecting that information.

L-2019- IN - Failures Reported in Eaton/Cutler Hammer A200 and Freedom Series Contactors 05/30/2019 12/4/2019 GEN-0008 The purpose of this IN is to inform addressees of operating experience with regard to failures of Eaton/Cutler Hammer A200 and Freedom Series contactors.

L-2019- IN - Strontium-82/Rubidium-82 Generator Breakthrough Events and Issues 08/05/2019 12/23/2019 GEN-0010 The purpose of this IN is to inform addressees of incidents where excessive levels of Strontium-82 and Strontium-85 were unknowingly administered to patients during a cardiac imaging procedure because of failed Strontium-82/Rubidium-82 generators.

L-2017- IN - Boiling-Water Reactor Dryout Indications Occurring During Normal 07/28/2017 01/13/2020 CRS-0046 Operation (Withdrawn)

This IN is intended to inform addressees of recent operating experience related to numerous dryout indications which occurred over multiple cycles at the Leibstadt Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), a BWR/6 in Switzerland.

L-2019- RIS - Clarification of Two-Person Rule for Industrial Radiography 09/16/2019 01/13/2020 GEN-0011 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing this regulatory information (Withdrawn) summary (RIS) to provide an alternative regulatory interpretation of NRC surveillance requirements to allow the second qualified radiographer to perform other tasks in another area while still being able to meet the surveillance requirement to provide immediate assistance.

Medical events described in this IN are attributed to written directive errors, clogging or kinking of the delivery system, and treatment of the wrong location.

L-2019- RIS - Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations 12/23/2019 02/19/2020 GEN-0016 The purpose is to inform addressees of the NRC staffs need for updated information on projected site-specific operator licensing examination schedules and on the estimated number of applicants planning to take operator licensing examinations.
