UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION POWER AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK DOCKET NO. 50-333 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE l
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has granted the request of the Power Authority of the State of New York (the licensee) to withdraw its August 26, 1993, application for proposed amendment to Facility Operating License No. DPR-59 for the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant, located in Oswego County, New York.
The proposed amendment would have provided a one-time extension of the current surveillance interval for calibration of the pressure switches that sense main turbine control valve closure at the FitzPatrick plant.
The Comission has previously issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on August 31, 1993, (58 FR 48388).
However, by letter dated October 5, 1993, the licensee withdrew the proposed change.
For further details with respect to this action, see the application for amendment dated August 26, 1993, and the licensee's letter dated October 5, 1993, which withdrew the application for license amendment.
