GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 WITHDRAWAL OF Att AMENDMENT REQUEST (TACNO.69258)

By letter dated August 31, 1988, as supplemented March 24, 1989, you applied for an amendment to the Grand Gulf fluclear Station, Unit 1, Operating License No. NPF.29. The proposed amendment would have modified the Technical Specifications deleting certain test, vent and drain valves from Technical Specification (TS) Table 3.6.41.

The leak tight integrity of these valves would have been assured by an administrative prgoram.

Your letter dated June 27, 1990, withdrew the amendment request stating that containment isolation valve listing of Table 3.6.4 1 will be relocated from the TSs as part of the technical specification improvement program.

I The Comission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
