RIVER BEND STATION UNIT NO. 1 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC. NO. 75949)
By letter dated February 2,1990, Gulf States Utilities (GSU) applied for an amendment to the River Bend Station, Unit No. 1 Operating License No. NPF-47.
The proposed change would have modified the technical specifications pertaining to the Division I and II diesel generator crankshaf t inspection scheduling and surveillance requirements.
Subsequent to discussions and further review of the issue, GSU withdrew the amendment request by letter dated June 26, 1990.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
