.(RVLMS) g thecore and:the implementation of the (CETs) exit thermocouples reactorinvessel leveltomonitoring response our requestsystem dated January 22, 1985. All activities related to the RVLMS and CETs have been completed except for the technical specifications.

By' letters dated July 10, 1987 and June 16, 1988, you requested amendments to the facility Technical Specifications for the RVLMS and CETs. We are in the process of completing our review and will issue the requested amendments soon. We are tracking our efforts related to these requests under TAC numbers 54523(Unit 1)and54524(Unit 2). Therefore, no additional status reports 3

are necessary.-
