San Onofre Unit 1 License No. DPR-13 As a result of an inspection conducted during the period of April 29 through
-June 2, Analysis Report (UFSAR) was identified 1990,.a deviation from a commitme
. Safety In accordance with the General Statement of-Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions, 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C, the following deviation was identified:
Section 9.1.1'of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report. specifies that
.new fuel is stored.in the new fuel storage room in the fuel handling
-inspection, and'provides a controlled environment for the receipt,is building, which storage of the fuel assemblies.
This arrangement i
detailed in Piping and Instrument Diagram 5178621-7, " Miscellaneous Ventilation Systems, Sheet 2," which indicates that a filter is installed at the suction of the supply fan, MVS-A-27, for-the new fuel storage area.
Contrary to the above, on April 5, 1990, a functional filter was not j
installed (for supply fan MVS-A-27) such that a controlled environment could not be maintained for the new fuel building.
In view of the action taken to correct this deviation before completion of this inspection, a' response to this Notice of Deviation is not requested.
