company who.had applied for: licenses to operate the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear

Power Plant,. Units 1-and 2. :An additional examination was administered to one

- Reactor Operator'who had failed the simulator portion of a previously admin-
istered initial examination. Three of three Reactor Operator candidates and.
one Senior Reactor Operator candidate passed the examinations. The Reactor

Operator who had-previously failed a portion of his initial examination passed
his retake examination.
. At' the conclusion 'of the examination, the preliminary findings were' discussed

- with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report. More

' detailed findings are also included in the enclosed examination report.
