Gentlemen:
This' refers to the inspection conducted by Mr, Nemen M. Tere of this office
.during the period May 21-25, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
Licenses DPR-51 and NPF-6 for Arkansas Nuclear One,-and to the discussion of-
our findings with Mr. E. Ewing and other members of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included review of the operational status
of the emergency preparedness program. Within these areas, the inspection
consisted cf selective examination of procedures and representative records,
interviets with personnel, and observations by the inspector. The inspection
findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified. Two open items which your staff committed to address were
identified during this inspection in the areas of procedures and personnel
dosimetry.
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to
discuss them with you.
