Pursuant to 10CFR50.59 the following report is submitted:
- 1. During the operating period of January to December 31, 1981, the following experiments were performed:
- a. 53 central thimble irradiations
- b. 1317 rotary specimen rack irradiations
- c. total operation of 1.653 megawatt-days
- 2. 41Ar release totaled 2329.6 pCi or an average release rate of 2.01 x 10-10 pCi/ml.
- 3. There have been no apparent changes in the tank bottom deflection.
- 4. During the reporting period there were 37 unscheduled SCRAMS:
28 linear recorder scrams caused by noise transients 4 linear recorder scrams attributable to operator error 2 period scrams caused by noise transients 3 period scrams caused by operator error
- 5. There are currently four students being trained as operators.
