APPLICANTS' SUGGESTED AGENDA FOR SPECIAL PREHEARING CONFERENCE Pursuant to the. Board's Order dated June 4, 1982, Applicants hereby suggest the following agenda for the special prehearing conference scheduled for July 13-14, 1982:

1.

Opening statement by the Chairman and introduction of the members of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.

2.

Appearances of the parties and their counsel, if any.

3.

If there is significant attendance by members of the public, a general explanation by counsel for the NRC Staff of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant construction permit proceeding and the process of reviewing the operating license application which will be followed by the Staff, the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, and the Board.

4.

Report on results of informal negotiations on contentions among petitioners, Applicants and NRC Staff.

5.

Board questions regarding matters of general applicability relating to the petitions to intervene, supplemental petitions and any other papers filed by the petitioners and the responses filed 8207090106 820706 by the Applicants and NRC Staf PDR ADOCK 05000400 PDR JJ CJ G

. 6.

Establishment of an order and time limit for each petitioner to discuss his or her petition to intervene and supplemental petition.

7.

Discussion of petitions to intervene and supplemental petitions by each petitioner and responses by Applicants and NRC Staff.

Scheduling of further actions in the proceeding.

9 Consideration of any'other matters raised by the Board or the parties.
