Subject: Iteeting Summary - Docket Hos. 50-269, 50-270, 50-287, and 50-369
This refers to the meeting held between you and others of your staff and
tir. R. C. Lewis and other members of my staff at our request in the Region II
office on May 21, 1982.
This meeting related to activities authorized by NRC
License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47, DPR-55 and NPF-9 for Oconee Units 1, 2, 3 and !!cGuire
Unit 1.
The subjects discussed are detailed in the enclosed inspection report.
Our concerns regarding breach of reactor building integrity and effectiveness of
your operations controls were expressed to you at the meeting ~ and your positive
response to our concerns is appreciated.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and has provided for a better
understanding of inspection and enforcement issues.
In accordance with
Section 2.790 of NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal
Regulations, a copy of this letter and enclosures will be placed in the NRC's
Public Document Room.
