The AC95 Subcomittee on San Onofre 2?.3 uill meet on March 11, 1981 in Washington, D.C.

The necting is expected to last froia 1:30 p.ra, to 7:45 p.n.

The purpose is to continue the review of San Onofre 2?.3 as part of the review for issuance of OL licenses.

This is the third Subcomittee meeting for OL review,. Prior meetings were held on Janaury 31, 1931 and February 18, 1981.

At the February 18th meeting there were several topics discussed which the Subco.rnittee required more infomation on. Further discussions of these matters

oThe adequacy of plant staffing, in tems of the number of individuals, their qualifications,and their training.

OThe training prograi.1, including training staff, course content, and utilizatinn of simulators.

oA clear, concise description of seismic evaluations that were performed on structures and equi;' ment.

SCE's perception of the role of government agencies in the event of an accident.

Reliability of power supplies, including offsite and DC power.

TMI related issues, including reactor vessel level indication.

San Onofre 223 will also be discussed at the full Comittee aceting on fiarch 12th from.1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

I have also attached a proposed agenda for that necting.

It is the desire of the f{RC and the Applicant that the ACRS urite a letter on the San Onofre OL at the P. arch 1981 full Connittee meeting.
