, APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Carolina Power & Light Company Docket No. 50-261 H. B. Robinson 2 License No. DPR-23 As a result of tne inspection conducted on flarch 11 - April 10,1982, and in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy, 47 FR 9987 (Ibrch 9,1982), the following violation was identified.
10 CFR 20.203(c) requires that each high radiation area shall be conspi-cuously posted with a sign or signs designating the area a high radiation 1 area. This requirement is implemented by Health Physics Procedure HP-1, Section 5.2.5. Section 5.2.5 also requires that if the high radiation area is not completedly bounded by physical barriers, those perimeters shall be
^
cordoned off in a manner that clearly indicates the bounds of the area.
Contrary to the above, as of ilarch 26, 1982, this procedure was not imple-mented in that a high radiation area on the second level of containment was
- not posted for access from the northwest personnel stairway; and, as of April 7,1982, the high radiation area around the spent fuel pit heat exchanger was posted as a radiation area, i
