Construction Assessment Team and Independent Measurements by NRC at Seabrook This letter is to confirm the NRC Region I intent to perform a Construction Assessment Team (CAT) and an independent measurement (NDE Van) inspection at the Seabrook site during the June 21 through July 2, 1982 period.
These plans were originally discussed by Mr. J. P. Durr, of this office, and Mr. J.
Singleton, of your staff, on June 1,1982.
The inspection will encompass the areas of quality assurance, design control, project management, construction control, procurernent, and an independent verification of your nondestructive examination program.
Your staff will be informed of any significant findings on a daily basis to facilitate resolution or prompt corrective actions. An exit interview will be held on July 2,1982, and the final report will be issued through our normal correspondence process.
