APPLICANTS' FIFTH PROGRESS REPORT REGARDING DISCOVERY ACTIVITIES Since Applicants' April 21, 1982, Progress Report, Applicants filed on May 28, 1982, " Applicants' Answer to Sunflower's Request for Production of Documents." Applicants presently are preparing responses to Intervenors' interrogatories on Issues 1, 4, 5 and 6.

These responses will be filed shortly.

Applicants' counsel recently have been informed by Ms. Sue Hiatt, interim representative for Ohio Citizens for Responsible Energy, that a copy of Jeff Alexander's thesis, " Population 3 Energetics of the Freshwater Clam Musculhu Lacustre," will be

)5O supplied to Applicants. Applicants, however, have not yet received the copy.
