In accordance with Appendix A, Beaver Valley Technical Speci it on 6.9.1.8, Administrative Controls, Licensee Event Reports LER 82-011/01P and LER 82-012/01P are submitted. These occurrences were reported to Mr. D. A.
Beckman, the BVPS NRC Resident Inspector, at 1130 hours0.0131 days <br />0.314 hours <br />0.00187 weeks <br />4.29965e-4 months <br /> on April 16, 1982.
I During records update of the analysis required by IE Bulletin 79-14, overstress conditions have been identified at four locations in the Safety Injection System and three locations in the Main Steam System.
The four locations of overstress in the Safety Injection System lnvolve a total of four supports on the three parallel branch lines providing high head safety injection to the Reactor Coolant System cold legs.
The three locations of overstress in the Main Steam System involve a total of six supports (two supports per location) on the three steam generator main steam lines upstream of their respective isolation valves within containment.
Beaver Valley is presently in a refueling and modification outage.
In the present ope rational mode, the systems are not in use and no danger to the health and safety of the public exists.
Required modifications to bring the supports to within acceptable limits will be made through Design Change Package 305. The work will be completed prior to plant startup.
