Box 2000 Winter Park, Florida 32790
Dear Senator Hawkins:
Enclosed please find copies of correspondence concerning the Crystal River Nuclear Plant.
In accordance with your letter of August 20, 1981, I am notifying you that I have not had the courtesy of a reply from anyone in the N.R.C.
The plant continues to shut down--it has been either 4 or 5 times since it came back on the line in mid December that it has had to be off the line:
Sirens continue to malfunction...the one in Yankeetown just sounded off, according to residents there, not long ago.
And, still, when inside my home, with no appliances, T.V.,
etc. going, I am unable to hear the klaxon with the doors and windows closed.
It is obvious to me that there are those within the bureaucracy of the U.S.N.R.C.
that are not concerned.
Perhaps they need to be weeded out and a new garden planted.
Sincerely, f?
