NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

Month:

March, 1982 Oconee I began the month of March at near rated power.

On March 4 the reactor power was reduced due to an oil leak on the turbine control oil (EHC) system. The leak was brought under control and the unit was returned to near rated power.

An outage was required on March 6 to repair a tube leak in the "B" steam generator. The unit was returned to service on March 24 at 1705.

The reactor and generator tripped on March 24 at 1928 when a feedwater control problem resulted in a high reactor coolant system (RCS) pressure.

It was returned to service the same day and increased in power, reaching near rated power on March 25 and continued the remainder of the month, 2
