Thank you for your letter of April 22, 1982, informing us of steps you have
taken to correct the violation conceming activities under NRC Construction
Permit No. CPPR-118 brought to your attention in our letter of March 23, 1982.
It is our understanding from a discussion with Mr. C. K. McCoy, Plant Manager
on May 19, 1982, that Administrative Pmcedure 01-S-01-1, Rev. 8 will clearly
indicate that the Assistant Plant Manager and the Nuclear Support Manager
will have signature authority for the Plant Manager or each other, only
in the absence of an individual and when the responsibilities of the absent
individual have been assumed. We will examino your corrective actions and
plans during subsequent inspections.
