SUMMARY
OF UNIT I OPER ATING EXPERIENCE - APRIL 1982 4/1 At the beginning of this reporting period Unit I was operating at 900 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
4/3 Decreased load to 795 MWe at 0035 for Main Turbine Control Valve testing.

Load was increased to capacity (900 MWe) at 0500.
4/11 Commenced power coastdown for 5th Scheduled refueling outage at 1330.
4/17 The unit was taken of f the line at 0327. The Reactor was shutdown at 0513.
The Reactor was placed in cold shutdown at 2335, 4/19 Completed draining the Reacter Coolant System at 1020.
4/30 At the end of this reporting period Unit I was shutdown for its 5th Scheduled refueling outage.

SUMMARY
OF UNIT 2 OPERATING EXPERIENCE - APRIL 1982 4/1 At the beginning of this reporting period Unit 2 was operating at 900 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
4/5 At 1945 load was reduced to 790 MWe to investigate saltwater leakage into the main condenser. Load was increased to 900 MWe at 0300 when indications of saltwater leakage disappeared.
4/9 At 0345 load was reduced to 780 MWe to investigate saltwater leakage into the main condenser. Load was increased to 900 MWe at 1130 when indications of saltwater leakage disappeared.
4/10 At 0600 load was reduced to 820 MWe to investigate saltwater leakage into the main condenser. Load was increased to 900 MWe at 1215 when indications of saltwater leakage disappeared.
4/12 At 0001 load was reduced to 810 MWe to investigate saltwater leakage into the main condenser. Increased load to capacity (900 MWe) at 1230 af ter plugging I condenser tube.
4/17 At 0740 the reactor was manually tripped when two control element assemblies dropped to the bottom of the core due to technician error. The reactor was brought critical at 1703 and the unit paralleled at 2100.
4/18 Load was increased to capacity (900 MWe) at 1700.
4/22 Decreased load to 600 MWe at 0530 to repair an oil leak on 21 Steam Generator Feed Pump. Resumed full load operation (900 MWe) at 0908.
4/30 At the end of this reporting period Unit 2 was operating at 900 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
