OP-2-1 Fort Calhoun Station Unit No. 1 C.y&
Plant Startup from Cold Shutdevn to Hot Standby OP-2 I.
General This procedure describes the star *,up of the reactor plant from a refueling condition or cold shutdown condition to hot standby with the reactor critical at less and 2% power.

1.
Plant Master Check List OP-1 has been co=pleted w
to ensure all associated syste=s are ready for reactor start-up.
2.
RC loop filling, venting, and leak testing operations (if required) have been completed in accordance with OI-RC-2.
3.
All the Prerequisites of OI-RC-3 (RC system start-up) have been met.
III.
Precautions 1.
Criticality must be anticipated whenever a g,g t-heat-up is in progress.
2.
Decay heat re= oval capability =ust be =aintained in accordance with the Tech. Specs. 2.1.1.
3 During heat-up JLQ boron DILUTION is permitted.

Do not operate :: ore than three RC pu=ps when the RC system temperature is belov 500 F.
5 Note all Precautions listed in OI-RC-3 IV.
