FIRE DETECTION INSTRUMENTATION (INTERIM)

L_IMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION 3.3.3.7 As a minimum, the fire watch patrol will tour the areas shown in Table 3.3-11.

APPLICABILITY: Whenever equipment located in these areas is required to be OPERABLE.

ACTION:

With the fire watch patrol coverage less than the minimum specified by Table 3.3-11, immediate correction action will be taken to rectify the situation.

a. In lieu of any other reports required by Specification 6.9.1, j prepare and submit a special report to the Commission pursuant to Specification 6.9.2 within the naxt 30 days outlining the action taken and the plans to prevent recurrence,

b. The provisions of Specifications 3.0.3 are not applicable.

SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS J

4.3.3.7.1 Fire watch patrols of accessible areas will be conducted once 4

every two hours.

4.3.3.7.2 Inaccessible areas (high radiation areas) will be monitored by visual inspection from the entrance to such areas once every two hours.

4.3.3.7.2 Containment will be monitored via the containment air temperature indications at least once per hour at locations listed in Specification 4.6.1.5 or by inspection once every 8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br />.
