Georgia Power Cocoany Response to Generic letter 81-01 for Alvin W. Vogtle Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 We have evaluated Georgia Power Company's response to Generic Letter 81-01,
" Qualification of Inspection, Exanination, and Testing and Audit Personnel."
4 In the letter dated August 24,1981 (Conway to Eisenhut), Georgia Power Company stated that the Vogtle Project is " meeting the intent of" the guidance addressed in Generic Letter 81-01. In lieu of these words, we require either a) a clear comitment to comply with regulatory position C.5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 of Regulatory Guide 1.58 Revision 1, and Regulatory Guide 1.146, or b) a description of the alternative rethods used to conply with 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, if the guidance of Regulatory Guides 1.58 and 1.146 is not followed.
