Attached is a copy of the V.

C. Summer Emergency Information brochure, revised in accordance with commitments stated by Ms.

R. M. McSwain, Supervisor, Nuclear Information for South Carolina Electric & Gas Company, in her statement before the Board (following Tr. page 3001) and in response to other criticisms.

(See also Applicants Proposed Findings, paragraphs 51-72, pp. 26-34, and specifically paragraph 70,

p. 33.)

Specifically, the emergency instructions are presented in the beginning of the brochure; the emergency instructions are presented in a simple instruction format; evacuation routes to specific county reception centers have been simplified; the evacuation routes map presents the locations of all reception centers; the radiation exposure information chart has been reexamined and redone; and the two-mile area around the Summer Station has been identified with a sector designation ( A-0).

Also, reference to a 25,000 millirem exposure as a level at which health effects are first detected has been eliminated and all references to the radiological cleaniness of the secondary loop have been deleted.

(Applicants' 68 respectively.)

Proposed Findings, paragraphs 64 and i
