DETECTOR READ!!!GS We have mytowed your March 20, 1981 msponse to our January 14, il 1 letter regarding event induced ermrs in the neutron flux detecton that could cause higher flux trip levels than those asstret in th-analysis of some events.
From our review, we have concluded that fbr operating BW reactor plants the limits on Die and center fuel melt are not excee<1ed because of these ermrs and no changes are required for present operating para-notars. Our Safety Evaluation Report (SER) is enclosed.
