Dear Administrative Judges:
This is to confirm that pursuant to the Board's Order of March 19, 1982, LILCO will conduct for the Board and parties a tour of Shoreham beginning at 10:30 on the morning of April 13.
We anti-cipate that the tour will last several hours.
Among other points of interest, it will cover areas specifically requested by the Board, that is, the control room, remote shutdown panel, spent fuel storage pool area, RHR system, control rod drive units, scram discharge vol-SO3 ume piping, reactor water level instrumentation piping, and D

Also included will be a progress report on the safety parameter display system panel, which is not yet installed.
As you may already know, Shoreham can be reached as follows:
Take Exit 68 off the Long Island Expressway; go north on the William Floyd Parkway (toward Brookhaven National Laboratory) until the Parkv v ends at Route 25A; turn right, or east, onto 25A and go about half a mile to a private road marked with signs saying Shoreham; turn left and proceed to the road's end at Shoreham's main gate.
You will be met there by a LILCO representative.
Mr. Earley will be LILCO's principal counsel during the tour and thereafter during the April 13th limited appearance session.
Attached is a compilation of contentions that we recently prepared.
We send it along to the Board and parties in the event it may prove useful.
