This letter and its enclosures represent a partial response to (a) Sunflower's " Request for Production of Documents to NRC," dated February 24, 1982, and (b) your letter to me of March 5, 1982 requesti.,g a document regarding Applicants' financial qualifications.

This constitute; our complete response to items 7, 9, 10 and 12 through 15 of your_ febrtiary 24 document request. We have been unable to locate any documents respensive to paragraph 7.
As we discussed, you will attempt to narrow the documents requested in paragraphs 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 before we undertake a more extensive search.
Finally, you will attempt to clarify the relevance of the documents requested in paragraph 8 before the Staff undertakes any search on this item.
In response to your March 5 request, I am enclosing a copy of the Final Rule, " Elimination of Review of Financial Qualifications of Electric Utilities in Licensing Hearings for Nuclear Power Plants," 47 Fed. Reg. 13750 (March 31,1982).
In the light of this final rule and the likelihood in the near future of a motion to dismiss issue #2 in this proceeding, no purpose would be served at this time for discovery
