By letter dated March 16, 1982, your Company requested that the Office of liuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) review proposed revisions to the Technical Specifications for the Brunswick Electric Plant, Unit Nos.- 1 and 2.
The revisions are for incorporation of requirements for a time delay relay modification to be incorporated in the steam line. break detection circuitry of the itPCI and RCIC systems of the plant. Fees totalling $1,600 (Class II-and Class I) were remitted with your application in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 170.22.
The ONRR staff has completed a preliminary review of your March 16 applica-tion. Based on this preliminary review, it has been determined that the requested revisions will involve consideration of a technical issue for which an NRC position has been promulgated rather than an administrative issue. As such, a Class III fee of $4,000 is required in lieu of the Class II fee of $1.200 that was paid for one of the units. -It is requested that your Corepany remit an additional sum of $2,800 to this office.
If tlw-ONRR staff's final review of your application reveals that the Class III and I fees are not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjustment will bo made.
