This refers to the meeting held at Indian Point Nuclear Generating
Station on June 7,1978, at our request, related to inspection of acti-
vities authorized by NRC License Nos. OPR-5 and DPR-26.
The subjects discussed and the attendees at this meeting are included in
the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Meeting Report which is enclosed
with this letter.
We view the results of this meeting'as beneficial in establishing the
office of a Resident Reactor Inspector at your facilities in a short
time.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part
2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulation, a copy of this letter and the
enclosed report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
