4 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
New York, New York 10003 License No. DPR-26 Docket No. 50-247 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on May 20-22, 1975, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full com-pliance with conditions of your NRC Facility License No. DPR-26 as indicated below:
Contrary to 10 CFR 20.203(c)(1), which requires you to conspicu-ously post each high radiation area with a sign or signs bearing the radiation symbol and the words:
" Caution - High Radiation Aren," you failed to post a high radiation area sign at the en-I trance to the Unit 2 Volume Control Tank cubicle.
This item is a' deficiency.
We note that the inspector was informed during the exit interview on May 22, 1975 and by a telephone call on June 5, 1975 of the action to cor-rect this item of noncompliance.
