Dear Mr. Cushnir:
This is in response to your letter dated November 17, 1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the F eedom of Information Act, copies of documents relating to a radioactive contamination incident in which a Tri-State Motor Transit Company truck carrying irradiated fuel elements from UCLA to Exxon Nuclear Company in Scoville, Idaho was found to be contaminated upon its arrival at the General Electric Center in Pleasanton, California.
The documents listed on Appendix A are enclosed.
Please note that two paragraphs of Document 6 of the Appendix have been deleted as they are not germane to the request.
This completes NRC's action on your request.
