License No. 43-16688-01 Notice of Violation Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on February 16, 1977, certain activities appear to be in nonccmpliance with URC regulations and the conditions of your URC License No. 43-16638-01 as indicated below:
1.
Contrary to 10 CFR 20.201(b), surveys to determine the concentration of krypton-85 in effluents released to the unrestricted area for purposes of demonstrating compliance with 10 CFR 20.106(a), were not performed during the period December 8, 1975 to February 16, 1977.
This is an infraction.
2.
Contrary to License Condition 13, repairs to the Radiflo unit involv-ing replacement of valve V-8 on June 28, 1976, were not performed by IsoVac, Inc. or by other persons specifically licensed to perform such services.
This is an infraction.
3.
Contrary to 10 CFR 19.12, during the period December 8,1975 to February 16, 1977, female operators of the Radiflo unit were not given instructions concerning prenatal radiation exposure as defined in Regulatory Guide 8.13.
This is an infraction.
4.
Contrary to 10 CFR 19.11(a)(b), current copies of the (1) applicable regulations, (2) the license, license conditions and documents incor.
porated in-the license, and (3) the operating procedures applicable to the licensee activities were not posted on February 16, 1977, nor was a notice posted describing the documents and stating where they may be examined.
This is a deficiency.
