Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 NUREG 0737, Item III, D.I.1
Dear Mr. Denton:
South Carolina Electric and Gas Company, acting for'itself and as agent for the South Carolina Public Service Authority, has performed leak tests in accordance with NUREG 0737, Item III, D.1.1, " Primary Coolant Sources Outside Containment". These tests have been performed on appropriate portions of systems as described in the response to FSAR Question 321.15.
This baseline data was gathered by pressurizing the applicable systems at or above their normal operating pressure and performing walkdowns of the systems to identify and measure any leakage.
If any leakage was identified during the walkdown inspection, action was taken to repair or replace the component. The result of the inspections indicated there was zero measured leakage on all of the applicable systems. The documentation for the results of these inspections is located onsite and will be made available for review on request.
