Release Report shall be in accordance with Regulatory Guide 1.21 (Revision 1), dated June 1974, and Regulatory Guide 4.1 (Revision 1),
dated April 1975.

If the calculated dose to any member of the general public exceeds the 40 CFR 190 Italts,' a Special Report shall be made to the Regional Administrator, MRC Region V, within 30 days. This report shall include an analysis of the estimated dose received by a member of the public frca uranium fuel cycle svurces for the applicable consecutive 12-month period. The report shall also describe the corrective actions planned to reduce subsequent exposures and to prevent recurrence of the event. The Special Report shall include a request for a variance in accordance with the provisions of 40 CFR 190 and include the information specified in 40 CFR 190.11(b). Submittal of the report is considered a timely request, and a. variance is granted urtil Staff action on the request is complete.
