Enclosed is an application for amendment to Facility Operating License No. DPR-7. The enclosed license amendment request (LAR) proposes to-i revise Technical Specification VII.H.3, " Semiannual Radioactive Effluent Release Report," extending the reporting period from semiannually to l
annually and changing the report submission date from 60 days after January 1 and July 1 of each year to before April 1 of each year. These changes implement a recent amendment to 10 CFR 50.36a noticed in the 1
Federal Register, Page 39358, Vol. 57, No. 169.
i Since the proposed change is not required to address any immediate
-i safety concerns, PG&E believes that the NRC review and approval of this LAR should be of low priority.
PG&E requests that the license amendment be made effective immediately upon issuance.
