Resident Inspection Report No. 50-309/90-06
This transmits the April 10 through May 15, 1990 routine inspection findings of
Messrs. C. Holden and R. Freudenberger at the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Plant,
Wiscasset. Maine. Those findings have been discusseo with Mr. Blackmore of
your staff.
This inspection found that Maine Yankee made conservative decisions with regard
to the scope and type of steam generator tube inspections and the evaluation
and repair of the thermal shield positioning pins.
