INSPECTION NO. 70-371/90-202 This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) announced nuclear material control and accounting inspection conducted by R. L. Jackson and M. C. Williams of this office on April 23-27, 1990. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your Uncasville facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed inspection report (Enclosures 1 and 2).
Areas examined.during the inspection are identifed in the report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress.
Within the limited scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
The enclosed inspection report documents oral commitments (see Enclosures 1 and 2) made by licensee representatives and discussed in the exit interview.
If your understanding of these commitments differs from the statements contained in the report, please inform this office promptly.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2 Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your l
control and accounting procedures for the safeguarding of special nuclear material are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed inspection I
