This refers to the announced inspection conducted by Mr. Jacque P. Durr of this
office on March 5-9, 1990, at the Seabrook Station, Unit No.1, Seabrook, New

Hampshire.
The discussions of our findings were held by Mr. Durr with

Mr. T. C. Feigenbaum of.your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I.
inspection report which'is enclosed with this letter. Within.these areas, the
inspection: consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors. The
report'also contains as enclosures several of our responses.to Congressional
i
queries concerning construction activities at the Seabrook site.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.-
