review conducted by Mr. J. L. Belanger of this office between April 30 and

May 4,1900, of activities et the Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant, Unit 2,

auttor14d by NRC Operating License No. NPF-43 and to the discussion of our

findings with Mr. D. R. Gipson and other members of your staff on May 4,1990,

at the conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the irspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective

examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations of MC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection.
We understand that you intend to replace the existing assessment system as a

result cf a recent evaluation performed by your security staff in response to
a previously . identified violation.
Please advise us of your procurement /
installation schedule when it is available.
