Gentlemen:

This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. E. Cummins of this office

during the period May 14-18, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC Operating

License DPR-34 for the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station,. and to the ~

discussion of our findings with Mr. C. H. Fuller and other members of your

staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

The area examined during the inspection was licensed operator training. Within

this area, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and-

representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection

report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.
