NRC BULLETIN 88-01, " DEFECTS IN WESTINGHOUSE CIRCUIT BREAKERS" (TACNO.67/41)

On February 5,1988, NRC Bulletin 88-01 was issued and requested holders of 1

L operating licenses or construction permits to provide letters of confirmation 4

l-to the NRC of the completion of specified inspections on Westinghouse DS l

series circuit breakers. Addressees who do not have DS series circuit c

breakers in Class 1E service were requested to provide a letter to the NRC i

stating this fact.

Your response dated January 22, 1990,. confirmed that you have performed the I

requested inspections on all relevant circuit breakers and that corrective i

actions, when needed, have been completed in accordance with the NRC 1-Bulletin.

Thus, your response to Bulletin 88-01 is satisfactory for Zion, Unit 1, and TAC No. 67741 is closed.
