. request involved adding Technical Specification Surveillance requirements for the Incore Instrumentation Room Purge Subsystem and a' clarification to ,i Technical Specification-4.9.4.2.

A request for additional information dated April 20, 1990 was received from

' the NRC requesting additional justification for the change, as requested, by ,

May 25, 1990. Upon further review of'the amendment request, we have found  ;

that 'significant changes will have to be made to fully justify 'the proposed' amendment. Because of this, we-have decided to withdraw the amendment request referenced above. *
