Enclosed is a draf t copy of a letter report ORNL/NRC/LTR 88/8, entitled
" Grand Gulf Stability Measurements During Cycle 2."
This report documents our analysis of noise data recorded by Grand Gulf staff during Cycle 2.
These measurements were performed after the stability tests of beginning of cycle 2 to evaluate Grand Gulf's stability towards the end of cycle.
Since the measurement data was recorded at relatively high flow rates, all the decay ratios estimated are small (less than 0.5) and we can not draw many conclusions about Grand Gulf's stability at lower flows.
